Acceptable use policy
Last updated 18 June 2026
These are the rules every creator and every supporter agrees to when they use CreatorGift. The rules are short on purpose. The platform actively prevents and removes anything that breaks them.
1. 18+ only
Creators and supporters must both be at least 18 years old. We require an age confirmation from creators at signup and from supporters before every gift. We close accounts and refuse gifts where we believe the person is underage.
2. Profile photos must be non-explicit
The single profile photo a creator can upload is identity, the same way every social product uses a profile photo. It must be non-explicit. It must not contain nudity, sexual activity, exposed genitalia, or content that depicts or implies a minor.
Profile photos are validated, stripped of metadata, and re-encoded by our upload pipeline before they are published. Where a photo is reported, or where a reviewer finds one that breaches this rule, we review it and remove it. Accounts whose photos repeatedly breach the rule can have the profile photo cleared and the account restricted. We never host, sell, or deliver content beyond the single profile photo.
3. What is not allowed
- Illegal content, illegal activity, or anything that puts another person at risk.
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18, or content that depicts or implies a minor in any sexual context.
- Non-consensual content, including content shared without the subject's permission.
- Threats, harassment, stalking, or any extraction of personal information about another person.
- Using gifts as a price for goods, services, content, access, membership, or anything else. Gifts are voluntary and nothing is owed in return.
- Posting another person's contact details, address, or identity documents.
- Hate speech, violent extremism, incitement to violence, or content promoting self-harm.
- Fraud, payment-card abuse, money laundering, or using the platform to disguise the source of funds.
- Impersonating another person or organisation, including using a stolen handle or trademarked name without permission.
- Automated abuse: scraping, brute-force gifting, bot-driven accounts, or attempts to evade rate limits and safety controls.
- Links from the public profile that send supporters to anything in the categories above.
4. How we enforce this
The platform prevents and removes breaches at multiple layers.
- Avatar uploads are validated and re-encoded by our pipeline before they ever go public.
- Reports from supporters and other creators land in a moderation queue and are reviewed.
- Our trust and safety reviewers can clear a profile photo, take a profile down, or terminate an account.
- Money movements are watched for chargeback abuse and the patterns we associate with fraud.
Decisions are recorded in an audit log. Affected creators are notified where we can give notice. Where the breach is serious or ongoing we act immediately and explain afterwards.
5. Reporting
Every public profile has a Report this profile link in the footer. Reports go to our trust and safety reviewers and are read. We act on what we find and we keep the reporter's identity confidential from the reported account.
Urgent safety reports can also be sent to support@creatorgift.com. Anything involving a possible crime against a child or an imminent threat to life should also be reported to the police.
6. Account consequences
Depending on the breach we may remove a single piece of content, clear a profile photo, suspend an account, restrict it from receiving gifts, or terminate it. Serious or repeat breaches end the account.
Supporters who breach this policy can be blocked from sending gifts. Where the breach involves payment-card abuse we work with our payment providers and, where required, with law enforcement.
